Arknights: Endfield is an action RPG from GRYPHLINE that blends real-time combat with complex factory-building mechanics. Players take on the role of the Endministrator, exploring the planet Talos-II, and recruiting new characters known as Operators to join their journey.

GRYPHLINE launched its official Discord server right alongside the game's global reveal so players had a place to chat about pre-launch previews, test phases, and news. With over half a million members, that early focus paid off to help build a thriving community. To further enhance their player’s experience on Discord, GRYPHLINE also partnered with Discord to launch the Discord Game Stats Widget, a new Discord profile feature that showcases a player’s stats such as showing a player’s favorite Operator, or player level, for Arknights: Endfield right on their Discord Profile Board.
Now, the Game Stats Widget has become a highlight for players, with more than 100,000 players installing it since it became available, and driving overall server growth.
Building a Server Around Real Player Needs
From the start, the Arknights: Endfield team designed its Discord server around specific player use cases rather than a generic template. News channels split by subscription role let players choose between game updates, server news, and community events. Dedicated feedback channels for every version release gives the team a direct line to the most urgent player concerns and feeding that input back into development. A web mini-game share-code channel lets players trade progress and support each other.
The team's approach to promotion followed the same practical logic: rather than chasing raw member counts, they focused on meeting player expectations and giving them space to support each other. When Discord solved real needs such as finding info, meeting other players, joining events, or sharing results, players stuck around and invited their friends.
Why the Game Stats Widget

The Game Stats Widget filled a specific gap in the team's broader Discord strategy. Quests introduce new players to the game and give them a reason to try it. Discord Social SDK features like Account Linking and Rich Presence let players carry their in-game identity into Discord. The official server serves as the long-term home for news, feedback, and community events. The Game Stats Widget completes that journey by making a player's connection to the game visible and shareable.
“In our day-to-day conversations with Discord users, we noticed that many Endministrators list Arknights: Endfield among their favorite or currently played games on their profiles, or put their in-game achievements in their bios. That made us ask whether there could be a more distinctive way to share and display that identity. The Game Stats Widget answered that need.”

Getting the Integration Right
Throughout the process, the team kept one main focus in mind: the widget needed to start from what players actually wanted. The goal was to let players show off their progress, achievements, and favorite Operators — not just display raw stats.

That player-first approach extended into post-launch iteration. Early feedback from players centered on data sync challenges, such as a delay in updating their game stats. The GRYPHLINE team adjusted the underlying logic so that successfully Account Linking alone was enough to trigger a sync. Once that change shipped, the concentrated feedback on the issue disappeared.
The Response Since Launch
GRYPHLINE has reported that player response to the widget has been strong across several dimensions:
- Enthusiasm and peer support. Players have been excited to try the feature, and many have stepped in to help others troubleshoot setup.
- Curiosity and discussion. Players compare the widget to similar features in other games, share ideas for future improvements, and swap tips on how to use it.
- Steadily improving experience. After the account-linking fix resolved the main pain point around sync timing, feedback shifted toward more positive, engaged discussion.
The team has also seen new habits form around customizing the widget. Whenever a new Operator is revealed, GRYPHLINE releases a matching Game Stats Widget theme, triggering a quick surge in players updating their settings through the web site. Community managers at GRYPHLINE noticed a regular pattern: someone sees a friend using a new Operator theme, asks how to get it, and learns about the availability of that Operator in the process, turning a small cosmetic detail into a fun moment of discovery. The team also noticed that favorite Operators vary across language communities, something they're still exploring.
Beyond engagement, the data points to a healthier community overall: players who adopt the Game Stats Widget skew toward being more retentive, active players, suggesting the feature is helping keep the broader community stay engaged over time.
Driving Server Growth
Since the Discord Game Stats Widget of Arknights: Endfield went live on June 26, 2026, it’s become a strong driver for the game's official community server in the following ways:
- Maintained Steady Traffic and Engagement: Following the widget's launch, the Account Link page recorded a steady several thousand unique visits (UV) a week post-launch. It helped sustain Account Link activity with a strong long-tail effect, minimizing declines in new unique visits and turning the page into a functional hub that users proactively refreshed around version updates.
- Contributed to an Upward Trend in Membership: Prior to the rollout of the Game Stats Widget, growth in the server's user count had settled into a more moderate pace. The launch of the Account Link page broke this trend, and the subsequent widget update drove clear, additional membership growth.
- Amplified Growth via Dedicated Invitations: The Account Link page—which hosted the Game Stats Widget and operator selection features—utilized a dedicated server invite link. Over two game versions, this link became the strongest driver of server growth, doubling the number of new users joining the official Arknights: Endfield server.
- Leveraged Incentives for First-Time Connections: To support the introduction of the Game Stats Widget, GRYPHLINE offered a set of Discord and in-game benefits as a complimentary gift from the team, including an exclusive Discord server role and in-game currency to players connecting their accounts to display their game progress.
This demonstrates how the Discord Game Stats Widget can become a key growth driver for the official community server, creating new ways for players to discover and engage with the game, fellow players, and communities.
